A devastating fire broke out at Mangalahat in Howrah last night. The shops of several traders have already been damaged due to this fire. Goods worth billions of rupees have been burnt to ashes. According to local sources, the fire took place around 1 am. Due to the fact that the affected shops were made of bamboo and clothes, the fire spread quickly and was devastating. As usual, firefighting started during wartime activities. Despite efforts to bring the fire under control overnight with the help of 12 fire engines, it was impossible to get it under control until this morning. As there are multiple buildings and shops in the area, panic spread throughout the region.

The cause of this terrible fire is not yet clear. However, according to the traders of Mangalahat, this fire was set by a local promoter. As evidence, many of them reported the smell of kerosene still coming from the cremation site. They said that they were victims of a conspiracy. Many businessmen have argued that the state police administration will be fully busy due to Trinamool's martyr conference today.
