Dr. N Krishna Ramana Murthy was instrumental in developing ecosystems of the Aerospace Industry during his tenure as Chief Manager in the Planning and Outsourcing of the Foundry and Forge Division of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is an Engineer in the Electronics and Communication field. Earlier he also worked with Bharat Dynamics Limited in the Weapons Assembly.

He was also instrumental in framing the syllabus and conceptualization of the Karnataka German Multi Skill Development Centre (KGMSDC), a Society promoted by the Government of Karnataka with technical support of German International Services (GIZ-InS). He was awarded the Rashtriya Ekta Award, Vikas Ratn, and India's most Talented Engineer.
